After being chosen to install a fire alarm and emergency alert system at the brand-new Queen of Terre Haute Casino and Resort, Fairchild Communications Systems, Inc. is happy to announce the award of a second related project: the installation of an emergency bi-directional amplification (BDA) system in buildings throughout the casino and resort.
BDA systems ensure radio coverage for emergency personnel while inside buildings, an area of technology the Fairchild team expects to experience growth – in Indiana and beyond. Because this is such a new technology, developing a proposal and plan was an all-hands-on-deck process.
Chase Fairchild and Shannon Almon worked with various vendors to identify the right solution while Project Manager Darryl Carver embraced the challenge and coordinated training for technicians and design staff while sourcing the necessary tools and surveys to install the system. Technicians Demetrius Fuller, Todd Michelfelder, and Richard Parkhurst quickly went to work on installing the system, which is now fully operational.
This proactive, all-hands-on-deck approach allowed us to complete this project on time and within budget! In addition to another success, we now have added experience and expertise to grow a new business sector! Well done, Team Fairchild!
