As technology leaders, you are asked to play a major role in protecting students, staff, and property. Access control, video surveillance, and intercom systems are your tools. How much is enough? How much is too much? First established in 2014, the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS) brings together expertise from the education, public safety and industry communities to develop and support a coordinated approach to making effective use of proven security practices specific to K-12 environments. Learn how you can use PASS resources to provide some structure to assessment and planning. We’ll also discuss a growing legislative movement called Alyssa’s Law, and how that should influence your planning.
