When faced with the numerous personalities of both riders and motorcycles, there may not be a single answer. Despite the differences between the high speed motorbikes, the laid-back chrome-encrusted cruiser, or the very familiar rumble of a well tuned Harley Davidson, there are some universal attributes that get under the skin of the motorcyclist and feed the desire to ride.

From our Systems Engineers and Estimators, to our Project Managers and Sales Representatives the freedom of motorcycling is being enjoyed. But with all great companies, big decisions need to be approved by the President…and since Chuck Fairchild has been riding a Harley since April of 2008, I guess the direction from the top is …….”RIDE”.

According to FCS president, Chuck Fairchild, “This move has been in the works for some time. Since the birth of FCS, space has always been a challenge”. In over 7 years, the company has grown from one man and a van, to over 60 team members, three offices, and more than 25 vehicles.

Long-time team member, Bill Reid said, “ I remember when it used to be just three of us. We had to do everything from sales related activities, to estimating and engineering, and project management. Our customer base is much larger now, and with the kind of customer service Mr. Fairchild promises to provide, it is great to see the team grow to meet this need.”  Fairchild says, “We are definitely taking huge steps to make sure our company stays efficient to meet the needs of our customers. This new headquarters will give us the ability to plan for the future without having to worry about space restraints.”

The new headquarters is scheduled to open on September 2, 2008. 

A 25-year industry veteran, Murphy will be working with the branch offices, overseeing the public bid market and supporting the architect and engineering client base. “Gerry is a great fit with our team,” said founder and president, Chuck Fairchild. “Our company’s seen incredible growth over the past seven years and his strong working relationships with many people throughout our industry and wealth of systems knowledge will help us continue that growth.”

According to FCS president, Chuck Fairchild, setting up an office in Southern Indiana was an easy decision. “This company continues to grow because we not only meet our customers’ systems integration needs, but we do it with a personal touch and with a quick response time. Opening an office in Jeffersonville was the best way to make sure our customers in Southern Indiana and Kentucky are getting that kind of customer service,” he said.

Long-time team member, Darryl Carver will be overseeing the daily operations of the new location. According to Fairchild, Carver, a Southern Indiana native, “has extensive project management background and a real commitment to customer service.”

Since becoming a licensed vendor by the Indiana Gaming Commission in 2007, FCS has landed major projects with both Hoosier Park Racino and Aztar Casino. “When we enter the bid market, we enter with confidence; we’re confident before our proposal hits the street that we can perform the work, and exceed the customers expectations,” said FCS President Chuck Fairchild. According to him, “our incredible success rides solely on the efforts of our entire team.”
